| Interesting phone call today from Polymetric Representative stating that errors in the 607 test have been discovered. They said that instead of getting a 846/fail that I had actually Passed the Test, and for the inconveince of me taking the test again (which I scored a 949) that they were going to give me my money back. WOW! What a concept their even gonna give me my money back, with a free test if I want to go on to the CCNP.
So others of you who scored real close might be getting a Phone call too.
I'm glad they admit the problem and corrected it, but I did spend alot of extra time re-studing, when I could have been moving on to a different area.

| it will be worth your time to restudy, although the circumstance why you did may be unfortunate. Its not just about passing the test, but knowing the stuff really well, especially the foundations thats built with ccna. I went back to study many things like BGP after I passed the test just to reinforce the learning and also to learn it, understand it, beyond the simple need and requirement to pass the test.
you will find that the extra study with some routing basic and switching will help tremendously with your ccnp tests.

| Did they tell you what type of errors are on the test? I took it twice and really thought I passed it. I scored 847 both times.
That is good to know they are forthright about notifying people that have failed because of it. I tried to Contact Cisco to contest my test score but the convieniently disconnected their extension in the certification department.

| No, the lady on the phone said she did not know what questions or areas in the exam were found to be incorrect. All she could tell me was that there had been something in the exam that was wrong and that I had actually passed the test. Just keep your eyes on your e-mail for something from Polymetrics and check your answer machine. I just happened to be home when Polymetrics called my house. | |
