| natrobi,
i dunno what to tell you except to just take it easy. i was so very nervous as well after reading so many posts about people not making it by small margins. that made me really study much harder. for the final week i was studying till like 5 a.m. almost everyday.
make sure you know your ios, wan techs., bridging/switching, cisco basics and expecially know how to input commands on a router, how to configure a router and communicate between routers. also how to configure routing protocols on an interface.
i was lucky enough to have experience using real routers at the academy and also i have a routersim at home so i practised all day before the exam. it kinda came easy for me i think maybe because of my MS-DOS background.
i think i read like 3 diff. bks and 5 or more different studyguides. i also found boson and other tests quite useful(demos).
hope this helps.
cheers
ps.read like there's no tomorrow. | |

| excellent job !!!!!!
I too am preparing for the exam...probably should have taken it already but I'm just a big chicken i guess. I've been studying the Sybex CCNA Study Guide (640-507) by Todd Lammle and also got my hands on copies of Cisco Networking Academy semesters 1-6 (haven't worked all the way thru those yet) and a router sim posted on here. I'm hoping to test by the end of the month, but I keep getting a bit freaked out because i have no experience and I'm self-taught. |
