Hi, I saw some recommendations on here for the cisco press book, but after doing some searches I came up with 2 different products. They both seem similar, but I was wondering if anyone may have used either or both and could give me an idea as to which one is more useful. The books:

Anyways I took the exam yesterday and failed with around a 790. I've already gone through the academy but apparently need something to give me an edge. Any advice would be appreciated.

hi I would get the odom ccna book.
the pratical study is for learn through doing lab works and unless you have a lab yourself, it prolly won't help much.
does academy use icnd book? if so, you may even want to get sybex's lammel book to just keep you in focus.

can't go wrong with either odom or lammel

The academy uses 2 books but I didn't get them because they also offer the entire curriculum online. They were optional and I'm cheap. I'll check out both books you recommended at the book store and then order one. Thanks for the info.
