| Hi,
I want to do CCNA but I am lost about what course I undertake? I am a first time guy so please could someone help me. I want to do the basic course. I am lost about what these 640-505, 640-506 etc means.
I have a book with the course covering 640-507 , but I see no notes for that on this website.
Can someone please tell me the best one to go for.

604-507 has been changed to 604-607.
Material has not changed that much but (this is speculation on my part) they have just made the exam harder in light of the current economic situation. The 507 study materials should prepare you for the 607 and you can get them cheap!! Have fun!  | |

| 640-505 and 640-506 used to be 2 of the 4 courses you need to pass in order to get the CCNP. Now they've changed to 640-605 and 640-606 since June 5.
As Marathoner said, the contents of 640-507 and 640-607 are the same so you don't need a new book to study for the CCNA exam.
Once you pass your CCNA, then you will deal with 640-603, 640-604, 640-605, and 640-606 to get your CCNP.
