| FOR THOSE WHO RECENTLY PASSED THE TEST:
Question: I have a older book for CCNA 2.0.
Will this book get me pass the test? | |

| Exam topics still the same. You can still use the book. | |
|
| agreed... as long as it was a good book | |

| A 640-507 book will prepare you well for the 640-607 exam, because the topics have not changed.
HOWEVER, the new 640-607 exam includes two router simulator questions. You should have some hands-on practice with a real router or router simulator before attempting the exam.
Cheers,
Ron

| Question: Where can I get a free router sim?
$$$ is tight right now. | |
| rsteedma 2002-05-21, 11:12 am |
| There are definitely some free options.
www.r1r2.com - free 1- and 2-router labs. The 2-router lab is fairly busy.
www.littlerack.com - free larger lab through the month of May only.
These are real routers, not simulators.
Cheers,
Ron

| ofcourse, The new exam only has a couple new things in it, including the sims, there is nothing "taken out" of the new test so to say,, anything in a 507 book can be in the 607 |
