| hi folks,
i tried to enter the r1r2.com lab,i wounder if someone can help me in this,
i tried to reach the conser?> prompt and on r1r2.com web page they said that i should perform an EXEC escape sequence"control +shift+6"then "x",well i did but nothing happened,i tried on
router> prompt,and on router# prompt ,and after saying "press return to begin" and i still couldn't reach to the console server to log on to the other router,so i wounder if you someone tell me how to do it,also i wounder that i performed a show cdp entry * and i couldn't find but a cisco switchand i configured e0 to be in the same net work and rip but i couldn't ping to it .

| Were pressing <CTRL><SHIFT>6 and "X" at the same time? THe sequence should be <CTRL><SHIFT>6 and THEN "X". | |

| well, i did this control+shift+6 then "x",but in what prompt should i do this
when i log to the router,if you just could try telnet to r1r2.com and try.
by the i dont have any certification but i'm working on ccna ,i dont know how to change this profile. | |

| It doesn;t matter whcih prompt you do this in
It should bring you back and then resume the session you can either type RESUME and <ENTER> or just <ENTER> at a blank prompt |
