Hello all,

This is my first time to post in CCNA forum. So how is everybody?
I have question for 640-607 and 640-507 exams. What is the major different for these 2 exams? Can anyone explain to me?

Have a nice day

not much is changed.
the exam objective is the same
the main difference is the use of simulator, you can take a look at

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/10...n/tutorial.html

its mainly recognition vs recall so the test is more relevant.

I have been checking out the boards lately and I was also wondering about the change. I am trying to prepare for the exam. So far, from I understand...the 507 testing materials will still be a beneficial tool for preparation. In terms of the simulations, I am looking into purchasing a routersim to get a lot more practice (www.routersim.com); they have 607 product that I am thinking about getting. The Sybex CCNA GOLD package is a cheaper solution though but may not be as robust as the routersim product.
And another thing that I myself am curious about is whether the reduction of questions due to the sims plays a role in passing (I would think that it would make passing more difficult).

Same old wine in a new bottle!
Now you got couple of simulations. Get use to the routers is what Cisco is expecting it seems. Sybex provides you a very nice simualtions along with the Tood's book I think. It is a good option buying.
