| I have finished reading Lammle's CCNA book and have been working with his e-trainer sim. I just picked up a new cisco CCNA certification book by cisco press and noticed they make mention, many times, about request for comment (RFC) Has anyone seen these on the exam, are they really worth while learning or just certain ones. Any help you be greatly appreciated. Thanks | |

| They are definitely worth knowing. There are too many to memorize, but you will need to know them in the IT world for hands on troubleshooting | |

| As you continue in networking
you will become knowledgable on a few as they relate to your specific duties but most of them will just be there for you to reference if needed. |
