Has anyone found any commercial sites selling practice tests or study guides for the new test?
I have been searching far and wide on the web, most sites are not advertising the new test, they would be very happy to sell you stuff for the old one. I have found only one site that has suspended sales of their old study guide, but I will not say their name here.

Thanks in Advance

I'd be willing to bet that most companies will only change the title of there study guides. so any 607 study guide you might see in the future will probably be the same 507 study guide, since there have been no changes to the objectives of the exam.

I'm in agreement with "ls431o28".

how would these be cheating their customer? what do you expect these guides to offer? the most current questions on the exam? ;/
their now *old* question are a good way to guage exam readiness and I see no problem in them simply relable unless you purchase them to expect a *legit braindump*...

To feel at ease about the lack of materials on the 607 exam would be to closely examine the objectives of both the 507&607 tests. If the objectives are the same then the same study materials would be adequate. If the objectives have changed then the study materials would not focus as tightly as they would have on the older exam.

I hope this helps some of you. I am a Cisco Academy Instructor and also do boot camps for more experianced people. I have had approx. 20 students test on the new exam in the last two weeks. Here are my observations:

If you know the material the test format is irrelevant. Some of the changes are nothing more than the addition of simulators which match VERY closely to the simulators already used in the academy. I realize that most do not have access to these e-sims.

Students that studied braindumps or only study guides failed. Those that new the concepts and could read well did fine.

The content did not change. Just the delivery method.

Thanks MikeMATC......your post is very clear and helps very much. The content is the same, only the delivery method has changed. Im looking for a router simulator myself to prepare for the CCNA, having just started studying for it. The CCNA routersims at www.routersim.com seem to be the best, but a tad pricey. What routersim do you use in your lab? ------Terry

Thank You, that is very helpful information. Is it basically the same format as the e-lab simulator cisco provides with their curriculum?

Cisco has created some e-sims (they call them that) that match the exams almost identically. I am talking about the interface mostly. Others that I have used with success are of course www.routersim.com and www.boson.com
