| I have noticed that a few people have passed the new exam.CONGRADULATIONS!
However, no one has mentioned what it was like. How was the router simulator? I am sure that we have to use full commands which I have no problem with. The Cisco example says that we will have 15 minutes to configure a router. Will we get only 1 configuration or can there be several? And does anyone know how they score it? Will you get scored on each command line correctly entered or is it an over all score that can be lowered because of one mistake? I can't find any info. on this. Also, does anyone know if it's a waste of time to continue studying Exam Essentials from the old test? Will it still help?
Everyone in my class was planning to take the exam over Spring Break, but now that it has changed, everyone wants to wait. We are all kind of scared of what it will be like.

| Why be scared. if you studied and prepared efficiently. You should take the test with confidence. Never let your guards down.
You plan to study and enhance your knowledge. Never let an exam win you over. | |

| I have looking over forums myself. Seems like we have the same dilema. I finish my fourth quarter at the end of May and am required to take the exam to get my AAS degree. I'm concerned because of the new format and the lack of available study materials focused on the new test. If anyone has taken the test and used Exam Cram, Sybex, Testout, Prometric, Cert+ materials, that focused on the 507 version and these material were adequate for the new 607, will you please respond? | |

| Shortcuts such as "show ip int br" work on the new simulator. Help is also available.
