| Just Need to Clear this Up~
There are Five Ways to Access the Router???
(Thats a Question)
1. Console ?- is that when You connect a
PC to Console Port?
2. AUX-Connect Dial Up Modem to AUX Port
for Remote Dial Up Access?
3.VT- Telnet into Router threw Network
4. ?

I'll give you one more; reverse telnet via a terminal server onto the console port,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, anyone else like to fill in the blank?

| Probably SNMP via a network management station such as Ciscoworks.
I've just edited a ridiculous comment of mine - if anybody read it - I meant to say the following!!!!
You can reverse telnet into consoles, but I've never heard of them being referred to as one of 5 ways of managing a device. Typically I would have expected the question to be what 3 ways of manageing a device are there, in which case the three already mentioned would be correct!
