CCNA - where do I start?

I am considering getting into the field...I am an audio engineer and am proficient in signal flow and routing in that respect. Should I just get a book and go for the CCNA first? I'd appreciate any response from you pros......thanks

I'd check out the free study guides from www.cramsession.com and get the Todd Lammle book. Boson is the best exam sim, they say!!
