| Dear all i want to apply traffic shapping on router ethernet for a computer on my LAN. iw ant to restrict the traffic of that computer to the 8k which can rise up to the 16k as burstable.

| Well if you are using Frame Relay then you can make use of CIR (Commited information rate) and use bits like BECN / FECN for conjestion recovery, DE bit for discarding implicit frames (traffic).
Im not sure if this is what yoiu really want.. but i hope this helps.
