How much does CCNA exam cover Spanning Tree? Taking Acadamey Program and instructor made it seem like it wasn't even mentioned, yet every practice exam I have taken has had a few questions

Oh it is on the test alright.

Be prepared to know what it is and why it is used.

There is a lot of detail associated with STP mostly relating to the state of switch ports (active, listening etc.). you should be faliliar with them all but don't get too wrapped around the axle over it.

I agree, you WILL HAVE TO know about the spann tree... it is on the test!
