After passing my CCNA, i'm in a serious dilemma.
Whether to go for CCNP or Cisco Security
Specialist 1.

Or should i do CCNP first and then do the Cisco Security Specialist 1.

Pls advise me. Your comments will be of value to me.

Regards,

I'm personally going for the CCNP first because I feel that the stuff I learn there will help me with the security track. But play your strengths.

i'd go for ccnp first, unless your well grounded in security.

I think CCNP would be the better choice for now. Gaining more knowledge of Cisco products and then securing them ..

I'd go for the CCNP first (which I'm doing now) then the Cisco specializations, because I won't think prospective employers or clients would be very "secure" in seeing that one only has basic knowledge in Cisco products with a CCNA. (pun intended)
