| Has anyone used products from
www.testking.com
just wondering how legit they are?
I'm not looking for braindump questions.
Just good accurate questions and answers that would be similar to what you might see on the test.
Thanks. | |

| nope never used it but what i did do when i had a Q about a specific domain i would post my Q here and i would stick with the cisco web sites because the correct answer is always the cisco answer. good luck | |

| heard that brain dumps from testking is very accurate. any idea where to get free and updated testking qns for ccna 640-607? heard that its from newsgroup, but i can't find any... please advice. thanks. | |
|
| hey if your going to use braindumps be sure to notify your employer at the time of the interview that way you both will save time and the employer can give a interview and a job to the ones who took the time and effort to read and understand the whole cisco process.if your only looking for Q to prepare you for the exam then post them here or just read the top 640-607 exam books.you can ask anyone about braindumps, yea a few Q maybe correct but i would bet the majority are guesses and you dont want to memorize somebodys guesses.good luck to you. | |

| LASIC, I like the comment about being interviewed.
I also agree with the revision comments. Both the Sybex and Cisco Press books contain all the information you need.
If you are unsure about something then post a thread on here or search the Cisco web site. Most members will answer as long as you post a legitimate question.

| I gotta throw my support behind Cisco's test #607 book by Odom, but make sure you get the second printing or later!!!! The errata (pretty bad) is not really the issue. The CD-rom is fubar.
I also got the Sybex book by Lamle. Focussed my preparation (good). But really great about it is its discussion of configuring switches(Hooyah!). I didn't get it until I read Lamle. [never had experience with VLANs or VTP!!!!]
Practice vs braining...
If I had to take the test without ever seeing the sample test questions included by Cisco in the Cisco/Odom book - I'd be sunk. There is a "Cisco" style to the questions and approaches to solutions. There is a simulator that Cisco sez is just like the test (and it works in second printing on). Many is the testee who sez they got confused by the simulator on their first test!
I also used the practice exams bound in Lamle. Not exactly like Cisco style, but I wanted to be scoring in the 95% range before I scheduled a test.
Is that braindumping???
I think an expert should have a chance to at least use their simulator's network topology diagram, select a host, then use the gizmo to CiscoTerminal into the router console - before sitting the exam!
Should I be lynched? [not volunteering yet]

| so testking is a braindump site frozengal_99?
Then I will not use it.
And off my shit LASIC, I specifically said that I didn't want a braindump site.

| I stand corrected. I will now remove my foot from my mouth. Sorry LASIC I thought you were accusing me of using braindumps when you said "both of you".
I was in a hurry this morning and read your post in haste.
I want to make clear that I am not looking for braindumps.
hopefully you will accept my apology.
|
| hey JETGDI my last thread was not for you but for all who consider braindumps as the only way to obtain the ccna.hey if you wanna cheat yourself and the rest of the IT field then use the dumps,i don't care i earned mine and i can always go back to my many books to reference anything on the ccna so basicully do what you gotta do.good luck to all. | |
|
| no problem JETGDI or to anyone just a word of help if you want something earn it! | |
| Sexy Lexy 2002-11-01, 5:43 pm |
| Good to see that this was only a misunderstanding. I think that this topic will always be a hot issue because those of us who earn the certification are outraged at those who don't learn the material, don't put the time and effort in and don't deserve the credit.
I will never condone braindumps and I hope than everyone else who takes the profession seriously doesn't either.
As LASIC pointed out, put the time and effort and work for what you want. There are enough of us on here who will answer genuine requests or point you in the right direction to help you along, as we all had to start somewhere. We can all learn something off each other.

| well, I got thru the CCNA without dumping.
Still, all I know is enough to go look for answers to the hard problems.
Don't be asking me the fine points of Cisco Routing and Switching and expecting expert advice!
I am glad that I passed. But really, it wasn't so hard as to prove that I know how to troubleshoot any problem, or design WANs beyond the basic.
Thanks all,
Now on to my neglected rollcast and fly presentation.
After a brew.
Or maybe two. | |

| This guy used to be a proud sponser of this website. Here is the word straight from the US Department of Justice; selling exam material is moving past civil lawsuits and is being prosecuted criminaly now in the US. This jerkoff was really popular back when I was studying for my CCNP. Last I heard was that he may be going to prison. http://www.usdoj.gov/criminal/cybercrime/keppelPlea.htm | |
| drdirt 2002-11-01, 7:59 pm |
| and I was just thinking that I would open a web business selling exam questions...
...but I thought you could never make any money at it.
wrong twice. | |
| drdirt 2002-11-01, 8:04 pm |
| I've been thanking people all afternoon. But I forgot dumbfart.
Thanks, you set me straight on at least one CCNA point.
Better understanding, better score -
949, and the ink on my CCNA isn't even dry yet. Roll out the barrel.

PS. I don't believe what they said about dumbfart in that other thread for a minute.

| Did it have anything to do with sheep? I don't care what this news story says; it is not true!!! Nothing but lies | |
| drdirt 2002-11-02, 12:07 am |
| sheep, who at examnotes would defame an innocent?
I guess in Antarctica, sheep come in handy.

| dumbfart...
That is the best use of a personal web page I've seen in months. I especially like this one:
"...and to have them molested like this, by a person other than me, is totally unacceptable."
Sounds like what a local police officer said last year about his daughter - after being convicted of course...
| drdirt 2002-11-02, 12:17 am |
| do you have any idea what this is a flag to?
could you use this? | |
| dumfart 2002-11-02, 10:28 am |
| It's not a personel web page. It's wasarrested.com. You can add any name that you want. There are other similar web pages with names like "smokescrack.com" as well. |
