| Congrats on your pass!
What materials did you use for preparation?

| u wont believe i used....
i only used Steve McQuery's ICND official coursebook and practsie questions from examnotes.net and www.how2pass.com, the how2pass guys have the questions that came in the exam, nearly 40%
i advise you to use CCNA practical studies also along with the official book and get ur subnetting right.
Get ur VLAN knowledge right cos 2 questions came from there, if u need detailed info mail me at my email job340@hotmail.com

| Good work dude..... glad to hear you made it, The more people I hear say it is easy, the better I feel about it. I will be taking it in December after I finish the academy. I also think it will be easy, but hearing it from people who just took the test make me feel WAY better...... :-) | |

| dear friend
it is easy if we study better...even i studied for one month before taking the test i got 5 questions wrong cos they were really hard.....i was stuck at those 5 questions, they show u the output of an IOS command and then wil ask you whats wrong with it....thats pretty scary if u havent really revised the IOS hard....other was of VLAN and im telling u it was real tuff, but tghe SIM's were easy , normal stuff....
but even if someone passes CCNA i advise to read the book of ICND from time to time to revise it and memorize it....

Okay, thanks for the info. Probably I'll have more questions when I start preparation for CCNA. I plan to do this after 2 months somewhere when I complete with 70-216 exam and MCSA as well.

| Netchild
I thought you had to pass the 70-216 to be a MCP, but you mentioned you will take the test in a couple months, but you show a certification of MCP by your name. Is there another test to get MCP ? I want to do that next, but I thought 70-216 was the only way. Let me know how you did it without the 70-216 test .
Thanks....... | |

| Yeah, my status is still MCP. To become MCP you must pass only one exam(for example 70-210 or 70-215). I passed 70-210, 70-215, 70-218 and now I'm preparing for 70-216 to achieve my MCSA. 70-216 is the hardest M$ exam and therefore I'm studying so much time for it. I want to gain as much as possible practical skills as well, because I don't want to be a paper MCSA/MCSE. For more information about M$ certification visit their site:
http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/
And if you have any more questions, just ask...
