I am taking the test for CCNA on Feb 8th, and was wondering, is the test really difficult. I've heard conflicting stories.
I have read Lammles book twice, and averaged @ 92% on the tests and reveiw questions. Should that be enough?
Thanks

I've heard it is sort of hard, if you know your stuff, you should be ok, I would try and get the Boson testing software.

Get yourself some more study questions to practice with.

If you know your stuff, then it isn't difficult.

If you understand the material, you will probably pass (of course).

I would recommend finding at least a second source of practice questions to make sure you know the material. Being tested on the material from a different angle is a good check that you really know it.

Practice exams are the key, search on the web and try as many free practice exams as you can. Read all the explanations after you answer the questions.

This exam is not that bad, but does require good understanding .

Yeah,

I read Lammle's book at least 3 times, went through it with a highlighter. Then I bought the Lammle/Odom Exam notes book. Read it once, and went through it with a highlighter the first time. I went back through the highlight sections at least 3 times on each book.

I bought a Boson, and Transcender (with flash) practice Exam. First time taking the exams I was averaging right the required passing percentage of 78%. Too close for me. I brushed up on the areas that the exams showed that I was week in. Then the week before the test, I just hit the practice exams really hard. Trying to figure out the reason for any misses. I was averaging about 95% on the practices.

Well I passed earlier this week with a 956 which is about 91 or 92 percent. Comfortable pass, but make no mistake. I busted XXX. Read the questions carefully and know the material. I don't think reading Lammle's book twice would be quite enough without suplimentary material unless your a whiz.

Good luck!
