If you want to get a feel for the CCNA or CCNP exams (think that only routing and switching are in it right now) you can goto this link on the Cisco Web Site, thats right the Cisco site and download this little primer of 13 questions per exam for free. After taking a few of these exams already, it is just like the actual environment you will test in.

I mentioned it in a previsous thread but forgot where I had seen it. How can 13 questions help?? You can see the listing of commands for the routing exam and get a feel for the detail necessary for the Switching exam. Those of you looking on taking the CCNA, this will let you know what to expect from the testing environment.

What the hell, it is free, from Cisco, why not???

To those of you getting ready for taking BSCN (CCNP Routing) the command listing is the same as on the exam. This is very helpful, I know because I didn't have it, used Boson to study, got into the real exam and was faced with this mondo list of commands to choose from. Luckly, I knew the commands so it was no problem.

If nothing else, you have to love this intro for this demo exam--

quote:

If you can't answer these questions with confidence, then chances are, you won't be able to pass the CCNA certifications exam.

Love it, no sugar and cookies with this demo!

Someone asked me to refresh this thread so here it is.

The scoring on this pratice exam gives partial credit for multiple choice where there is more then one answer, the acutal test will not do this, if you get one wrong, you get the whole question wrong.

Have fun.
