1. Which two statement about frame tagging is true
A. A tagging is developed for each switch
B. Frame tagging assign unique user defined ID to each frame
C. A unique identifier is place in the header of each frame as it is forwarded between switches
D. Frame tagging is a technique that examines particular information about each frame based on user define offsets?

Ans : B,D
My Ans : C,D

2. Which three statement about frame relay configuration using subinterface are true
A. Each interface is conferred either multipoint or point to point
B. Any network address must be removed from the physical interface
C. The configuration of subinterface is done in router (config-if)# mode
D. Frame relay encapsulation must be conferred on each subinterface

Ans: A,B,C
My Ans : A,B must right, but according to the Todd Lammle book of IPX chapter, it show the prompt of (config-subif)# when configure sub-interface but in Frame relay chapter it show (config-if)#, I dont have a router to check it out. D i am not sure.

3. On a network design project you determine that a new testing application requires multiple hosts. These hosts must be capable of sharing data between each host and an enterprise server at 10 Mbps bandwidth. Other divisions in the company use applications that require less than 2 Mbps bandwidth of the enterprise server. What is your most econimical recommandation?
A. That existing 10 baseT hubs be replaced with 100 base hubs to improve overall performance.
B. That a router can seperate the testing application from the rest of the network
that allowing the testing application more bandwidth
C. That a swithch be installed so that the enterprise server can be provided a 100 mbps and each of the testing application hosts can be given dedicated 10 mbps
D. That a bridge be placed between the enterprise server and all other users with the exception of the testing applciation

Ans : some say C and other say B, I dont know.

4, In which three situation is a hold down timer reset?
A. When the hold down timer expires
B. When infinity is finally defined as some maximum number
C. When the router exchanges update summaries at area borders
D, When the router detects faulty LSPs propogating through the internetwork
E. When another update is received indicating a new route with a bettic metric
F. When another update is received indicating the original route to the network has been restored
G. When the router receives a processing task proportional to the number of links in the interwork

Ans : A,E,F
My Ans : based on the Todd Lammle books, it stated the 3 situation triggered update reset the holddown timer:
1. Holddown timer expires
2. The router receives a processing task proportional to the number of links in the internetwork
3. Another update is received indicating the network status has changed

In addition, books state when holddown timer start, if a new update arrives form a neighbor with a better metric than the original network entrym the holddown is reset.

So, A and G is must correct and also E. Am i right?

5. Which two statement about a reliable connection oriented data transfer are true
A, Recipients acknowledge receipt of data
B. Wehn receivers are filled to capacity, datagrams are discard and not retransmitted
C. Windows are used to control the amount in outstanding unacknowledge data segments
D. If the sender a timer expire before receipt of an acknowledgement the sender drops the connection
E. The receiving device waits for acknowledgement from the sending device before accepting more data segments

Ans : A.D
My ans : A is must true, but I think D is wrong because when timer expire and dont receive a ack, sender will retransmit.E is also incorrect that sender wait for ack not the receiver,I think the answer is A and C.

6. What are four benefits that can result from applying ISDN networking?
A. Full time connectivity acroos the ISDN is spoofed by cisco IOS router using DDR
B. Small once and home once sites can be economically supported with ISDN basic rate interface
C. ISDN replaced signiling system 7 (SS7) in the public switched telephone network backbone
D. ISDN can be used as a backup service for a leased line connection between the remote and central office
E. Modem racking and cabling can be eliminated by integration of digital modem cards on cisco IOS network access servers (NAS)

Ans : A,B,D,E

This one so difficult, except B,D is sure correct, dont have any idea of others

Sorry for so many questions post here cause I will take the exam on sat, so take as much as practice as possible. Great thanks for any input.

Om....I dont know it is dump or not, just got the PDF file from another site. It have about 200 question and some are very easy and some are more difficult. So i just post those quetstions here I dont understand and hope anybody can help. I am so scare about the exam in sat, have heard many said the questions will vary a lot. Some got no frame relay question and some got more than half about OSI. I just use my Todd Lammle book and study it hard for about 2 months. I dont know it is enough for pass and I also use the boson test and try as much as practise question as possible to width my knowledge. I dont want to retake the exam cause know it will more difficult than the first try . If I post the question here and break the rules of this board. All I can say is sorry to all. Thanks.
