| Just want to thank everybody on this board and everything I got from this site. I have to guess some of the questions at the beginning and I thought I failed the exam. Talk about luck. I studied for about 3 months. I studied heavy on Exam Essentials the last 2 weeks. Read couple books before that.
This is what I use to prepare for the exam. Hope this helps.
Troytech 每 Got to have it. It highlights the entire Cisco CCNA book. Save some time reading the entire 500+ pages. Good for something on the run and you don＊t want to carry that 500+ page book around you when you are traveling.
Cisco CCNA Book (forgot exact book name.) 每 Good reference book. Hard to read for beginners. I used this to look up my answers for Exam Essentials. Don＊t start your cert with this. You would hate CCNA.
CCNA Semester 1 (HTML version, paperless) 每 Search the net for a copy. Great for starters. Interactive with pictures of the entire CCNA. Very little reading but not enough to get you pass the exam.
CCNA Dummies 每 Get this if you have no experience with networking.
CCNA Exam Notes by Todd Lammle 每 Small little book for $20 US. I keep this with me all the times. Pull this out and read when I have a chance.
Exam Essential 每 Got to have it. I would say 50% 每 60% of the real questions are similar to the EE questions. I crammed this for the last 3 days. Got to remember each and every questions. It＊s not too bad, there are only 300 questions.
