| Well guys, just thought I would let everyone know that I got CCNA out of the way yesterday with a score of 870. Not the ideal passing score, but considering I was expecting to throw away my $100 by the end, that 870 was taken with open arms and a big grin.
A friend talked me in to sitting for my exam early so he would have someone to talk to on the way to the testing center for his exam. (Closest testing center is 2hrs away) So I agreed to give it a shot.
Anyway, a big thanks to everyone who uses this site, you guys are the best. Oh - and FREAK, your the greatest, if you guys are having trouble with subnetting, take a look at his guide at http:\\mcsefreak.com This guy spends a lot of time helping others, and deserves all the credit he can get. Thanks Bud!

| Congratulation !!
You have done a good job.
Just began studying CCNA material now and would like to know what material you studied??

| I used the Sybex CCNA Certification Kit. It comes with a great CCNA study guide, and a Virtual Lab cd that helps give you the "hands on" experience. The lab isn't near as good as working with real hardware, but it is enough to get the job done.
I also recommend getting Exam Essentials 5.5
This practice test software is great!
Well, that was my ammo I took with me. I think is made for a well rounded knowledge to walk into the exam with.
Thanks for the good words, and good luck to you, I'm sure you will be posting your good news soon!

| I would like to clear something up for a moment....
When I posted the subject as "Another on to hang on the wall" I'm not sure what you thought I was referring to. I am not making that comment for exaggeration, or implying that comment in a negative manner.
All I was saying is I was glad to have this one behind me, and ready to open up more books for more knowledge.
I got the impression that you may have taken that negatively, and I'm not sure why.
At any rate, I appreciate the good words from you. Thanks
