| 0.0.0.0 with a wildcard of 255.255.255.255 means any. So you can replace 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255 by any. | |

| The answer is D | |

| The answer is D Host.
Reason. The 0.0.0.0 is a wildcard mask, not a normal subnet mask. In this case the 0 indicates that that digit must be identical to the one in your ip. A 255 (which would be classified as any) can have any number in that field.
Example:
Lets say a 0.0.0.255 wildcard mask
In this case the first three digits would have to match the ip, but the last octet could be anything.

Not a bad example,, but after reading your question twice, I chose answere D-because in the question it asked for a specific host.
Is this the format I can expect???? I simply was not sure about the answere and used duductive reasoning for this answere however, I wish to personally know for certian the answeres when I see them for the test.
can anyone have any insight,????? | |

| That is very much like a question you could expect, but there's a lot more than that. |
