I just received my MCSE at the beginning of the month and I am thinking about getting my CCNA... How much value is placed on the CCNA in the marketplace? What about when combined with MCSE?

Please advise...

It really depends on where you live, and on which area of the IT field you plan to be in, but I think that it is a really valuable cert to have if you're a MCSE. If you do enough networking and plan to advance in it, you will sooner or later (probably sooner) need to know some Cisco.

In smaller companies there is some value to having both but in larger companies they are two distinct groups. In even larger groups you may find the router techs are seperated from the switch techs.....so I agree with Trouble!
