i just pulled a new router out of the box and when i booted it, it was stuck in rommon mode....

Does this mean no IOS is loaded???

What do i need to do from here???

I'd say reading the manuals that came in the box would be a good idea.

The first thing I would do is check my configuration register to make sure it is the default. It is usually 0x2102 or 0x102.
