Author Question on test format

Are there any questions on the test in the format of a scenario in which they present a problem and give a solution. Then you have to state if it meets the primary goal and if it meets the optional goals or not and how many of them.

Been studying all kinds of questions for the test, but don't remember seen this format. I've usually found it in Microsoft and CompTIA exams.

I didn't see any on my test, then again there is a huge database of questions.

Tks for the reply Bernie;

I haven't seen any myself, but just wanted to check with others if they have.

Four days and counting...

JerryL,
None of that Microsoft type questioning on the CCNA exam. Cisco seems interested in your grasp of commands, how to's, structure of what it takes to accomplish a task. If you're using Boson,Transcender or even the testing from Lammle's book, these are the basic structuring of questioning you'll find on the exam itself. Unlike previous MS exams, none of these practice tests are going to prepare you for the exam alone. Make sure you're thinking OSI layers and it's benefits, segmentation, encapsulation types, access lists, etc. while you're sleeping. Study, study, study.

Hi subnet;

Tks. Besides reading the Sybex book 3 times (yes, I have it memorized by now) and going through Exam Essential (getting 90's on scores), been reading anything else i can find. Half way through the Network Professional Library book - "Cisco - A Beginner's Guide" by Tom Shaughnessy. Good book. A few mistakes, but gives a different look at a few things. This is not a cert book though.
