| I am building a home lab and recently purchased a 1900 switch, and I was wondering what models of routers I should consider for the lab. Any advice would be appreciated. | |

| Hunin,
Definitely get a 2511 access server so that you can practice reverse telneting and such. I would also try to get some of the higher model 25xx's if you can like 2522 and similar. I have a couple 2503's, 2513's and 2514's in my home lab, but I wish I had bought the better 25xx's.
Some possible bad news though. I am not sure that the 1900's have the proper version of IOS code to really help you. See my thread over in the CCIE forum.

| dagreer,
Isn,t the 1900 switch what is covered on the CCNA exam?
I see you are from Pittsburgh. If you know of any job oppotunites in the Greensburg or Monoreville area I would appreciate if you would let me know. | |

| I can't find any reference to the Catalyst models on CCO. Will check some more.
