Author Writing on Apr 30th

Long time since I've been here. I'm writing on the 30th, and I hope I'm ready for it.

I've read the Sybex book 3 times, gone through Tom Shaughnessy's book: Cisco - A beginner's guide from Network Professional's Library (which is actually very good) and right now getting constantly in the high 80's to 90's in exam essentials. Hopefully will be in the high 90's in all parts of exam essentials by within the next week.

Any suggestions?

Tks

Tks Bernie,

I feel like I've lived on Cisco's site for quite a while now. I've looked at the link that you sent and have been there numerous times.

Have you written yet? If not, when do you plan on writting?

I wish I had that link before I wrote the test. I passed at the end of March, I'm over in the CNE forum now, it's total dead over there. I'm studying for CNE5.1, it relates much more to my current job functions so the CCNP will have to wait until I get some more hands on. How about trying www.techmindworks.com for a 14day subsciption?

Took it out last month. Went through the questions quite a bit. I happened to get a good deal on EE, so I took advantage of it.

Plus from what I understand, EE is also very good and very close to the actual questions asked.

Tks Jezebel;

I'm in competition with some one else, so I have to get over 913!

Hopefully...

Hey JerryL,

You've been hiding for a while, huh? Do we know that "some one else"? Maybe we can bet on you! He he he...

Good luck!

Hi Dmaftei;

Long time no talk. Been busy between work, studying and getting ready to move back to the great white north (Canada).

Unfortunately, she hasn't signed on to the forum, although she knows about it. She's going for her associate degree in Comp Sc. Went through the first two semesters of the Net Acad with her.

I'm still a little week on the access lists and some of the commands, but plan on being up to strength by the end of the month.

I'm writing my CCNA exam on April 30th also. I've read the ICND book and I'm using the e-trainer from Sybex. My weakness is subnetting, so I'm really practicing that. Good luck to ya.

Hi Sudio78;

Good luck. Are you using any of the practice tests such as EE or Techmindworks? I found subnetting easy (just lucky I guess). I found with the questions that you have to read them carfully as the wording in the questions help to point you in the right direction.
