CCNA - Storage Area Network?

hi guys,

I know this topic is irrelevent to this forum CCNA, but i thought some good guys here might know something...

I came across SAN few weeks ago but still cant seems to figure out it is?

Whats the diff. bet SAN n a Server?

Is SAN = mutiple server placed together?
