I have a couple of questions about diff timers.
I remember seeing an answer stating that distance-vector routing protocols send out a complete copy of it’s routing table to all it’s neighbors every 30sec. I know RIP does this but IGRP is stating 90sec. The Q. lead me to believe that both send out every 30sec. Also I can’t find a time for RIP’s Holddown Timer. Can someone help me in these hard times?

Here are the defaults for the timers from the QUE book Exam Prep Kit, Aug2000 pg 225 and 233:
Rip -
Routing update timer Default 30 Sec
Invalid timer 90 sec
Hold-down 180 sec
Route flush 240 sec
IRGP
Update timer 90 sec
Invalid- 3xUpdate...270 sec
Hold down- 3 times update plus 10 sec 280 sec
Flush- 7 times update, or 630 sec
