I just started reading the CCNA Sybex Study Guide because a friend with his CCNA told me it was a good place to start.

I want to know what other study tools you guys recommend to help me learn what I need to know to pass my CCNA and get an entry level job working with Cisco equipment.

I have managed a Novell LAN for almost 3 years...

Thanks!

The Sybex book is great but it is a little light in some areas, particularly Vlan's and Bridging/Switching. I would reccomend Wendell Odom's Cisco Press book. It goes into great detail, and compliments the sybex book well. I also used Exam Essentials 5.5 from examessentials.com. Good Luck.

I agree the Cisco Press book is the best - especially the Certification Guide book - I would recommend the CCNA Preparation Library - definitely the best!!

For a good freebie try
http://www.routeru.com
and point to the KRANG simulator. It is a bit prone to 'playing up' but is still a half decent free router simulator.

happy routing,
