| Here is my plan:
Books I have purchased:
Sybex CCNA Kit ( Second Edition Study Guide and the Virtual Lab software )
Sybex CCNA Exam Notes
Cisco Press ICND book
I have enrolled in:
ICND Course to start Sat April 7 and proceed for 5 Saturdays, for 8 hours a day.
I plan on getting a head start on the ICND class by studying the CCNA Study Guide, then obviously use the ICND book while I take the class.
Sound good? I am not new to PC's or networking, so I have the basics and intermediate stuff thoroughly covered. I would welcome any other advice on getting into the Cisco industry via this certification. | |

| I got my CCNA in Oct, and have 2 years of LAN experience, and have had quite a hard time finding Cisco related work. I also live near a major tech area. It is a hard market right now for newbie Cisco people. |
