hello all,

i just returned from the exam. my score was 946. it wasn't too bad. my opinion, but i didn't think the questions were worded to confuse you at all. i only found two questions in Access-list and Frame Relay that left me baffled.

resources used: Sybex book, Boson exam and Techmindworks.com

i wish i also had access to Odom book, i would get it if i was studying for the exam because Sybex book leaves many topics open to further explanation.

i fully read the book twice, but went over it many times in sections to find how it related to questions. the Boson and techmindworks.com questions helps you to see the question from different perspective.

but i have to admit that my secret weapon was this forum. in addition to the countless help from so many people. this forum gives for a feel for how ready you are for the exam. for the last three days, i hardly studied. i focused on staying calm for the test. i even took Deets's advice and remained barefoot during the test. but you have to know your stuff, that is why brain-dumps take longer to learn from, than if you were to study the topics.

finally, i want to thanks all those who have ever responded to my questions. you know who you are, if my username "rain" sounds familiar.

what's next? a few days of rest and on to CCNP. i love this stuff.

thanks again,
rain.

thank you all,

yes, tele, i used Boson and techmindworks.com tests.

hey are both good. i don't know if i would really recommend one over the other. however, the techmindworks.com questions are more tougher than the actually exam and they have a good customer service.

i had a can of beer to celebrate. seems to be my limit these days. the wild party days are over for me.

thanks again,
rain.

Azam,

a lot of people said the Boson # 3 was good. i couldn't really say which of the Boson tests were good. i guess they all were. i used test number 1 and 3. i think Boson compares more closely to the exam questions.

techmindsworks.com is a little harder than the actual test, but you also learn a lot more from challenging questions.
