why would a nic need 2 IP addresses?
|

| sorry if this seems like a silly question....
but why would someone bind 2 (or more) IP addresses to a NIC?
i can see why a computer would use 2 NIC's - to use as a "router".
thanks for your help. | |

| At work I have two websites hosted from the same server so I have to bind both ip addresses to the same nic.. |
