Boson VS. Transcender
|

|
| I was wondering what everyone thinks is better for test software. I know transcender rules in the microsoft world but have heard great things about boson in Cisco land. Any thoughts on how transcender is for the CCNA and if Boson is better? | |

| we are studying books getting lab exp. and working hard to give exams and you are talking about transcenders ? huh ! If people started passing exams like this then the certification valus will be down and even market will not believe the those professioanl who are expert in this field .
The time which you will spend to do transcenders or what eva it is if you spend the same time to read the book then your concepts will be clear . You can pass exam easily & offcourse this will help at your job also . After this thread if you are still looking for transcenders then this is wrong place my friend.

| Hasseeb. There's a difference in studying and test software. I have studied the books and done the lab work as well. I'm also gonna look at practice tests as well. Nothing wrong with that. I think you jumped to conclusions on what I was asking. | |

| Hey Hasseeb, there are some of us who have studied for months and months who are working hard to get experience and have spent hundreds of dollars on books and labs who do not agree with you. I do not see the problems with transcenders. I actually have one for the CCNA but only to help me as a form of review. I would think for a person to sign up for this forum, they must really take the CCNA seriously and are not not trying to just past the test. Some people actually need to constant review that a transcender may give. The transcender, in my opinion, is just another resource, maybe not one of the most honest but it's legal. I don't know, maybe I am giving people too much credit. | |

| Well there seems to be enough controversy about the subject of practice tests. Hmmm... I guess the Transcender seems the most controversial. I've been studying the material for quite some time. I have the job, and can do the job. I think I might buy me a Transcender and check it out before I take the test.
Peace and good luck to all

| I think the boson is the best. The questions are almost identical. Who ever is taking a cert should use things like bosn to help prepare. To learn the text book should be studied and most importantly the concepts. It is just like a class in college. You read the text book and before the test you try to master your notes the best you can. This will sharpen the main points you are learning. Anyone who uses bosn and transcender type study guides only, are cheating themselves. Get your concepts down for ccna because when you study your ccnp thebook asumes you know these concepts. My 2 cents. |
