took my exam yesterday, scored 827, whereas passing is 849. some of the questions were very easy, some very confusing. i did this in 13 days, full time, thought i rushed and still need some more time b4 i retake it.

Hey,

its sad to hear a co-cert chaser fail. But, you can pass this exam very easily. Follow the links to my fav sites. I had passed ealisy. A couple of my collgs have also scored about a perfect.

see what going to dump sites does to ya?

Makes ya pass the exam, but doesn't give you the intelligence to make a single post....

My advice is READ READ READ and ask questions when confused. Don't end up like those cheaters that will be embarrassed at a technical interview.

You will do it, but I wouldn't resort to braindumps. You are trying to learn how to use Cisco equipment, the certification will prove to be worthless to you if you don't know the subject well. As posted by Yankee, read, read, read. There are too many new concepts to be absorbed in 13 days. Give yourself more time, learn the subject well and then take the test.
Wish you the best.

Understand the material is key. I had to read certain sections a few times, but when I was done I really knew the material and that was reflected by my exam score. I think going to an exam with a background in braindumps and practise tests must be pretty stressful. If you must use braindumps and practise tests use them to test your knowledge, not as a way to learn material. It may be cliche, but you are only cheating yourself.(not sure if this applies to you, but just a general comment)

Kind of upsets me that some of these sites are just soo slick and professional, its dishonest. hope it deosnt push the passmark up to 95%, ive been studying for 10 months on and off. what is the point of having a cert and seriously F***ing something up at a job cause you dont understand what your doing.

its beyond me. just my 2c (p) worth

Javed good luck with the retake, i bet you were gutted when you saw the score.

this test is difficult for those of us who are not cisco-gods.

yes guys! the problem was time!!!
i think i rushed it, it takes time for things to settle down in your head when u read them 2-3 times, sure makes more sense. the dumps werent bad at all. it had the explanations, and u learn a lot of the stuff going through those questions. thats just my opinion.....
read the book i would say to myself and practise practise practise!!!

Don't rush, get a good understanding of the basics, and you will find it easier to make imformed choices.
Be confident in yourself.
Best of luck next time.
