Hi All,
I would like to start studying for the CCNA 2.0 exam after completing my MCP (Win2k prof.), i thought (actually circumstances have forecd me) I should move on to CCNA before continuing with the MCSE 2k papers.
You see I work for an ISP here in Kampala as techinical support, and I have been told that I should try to get the CCNA cert, because that is what will be important here ( Though they are not paying for the Exam!).
So I have to go for CCNA, to keep my job secure!
I will need your advice and help, in order to make it.
I have already gotten the CCNA 2.0 study guide by Todd Lammle, I have access to 1600 series router for practice..plus some exprince with LAN+WAN administartion, that is all I have, and Am expected to do this before end of the year.
Any tips and advice is highly welcome, otherwise I feel this is a big task!

This is a big task, but it is doable, for sure. Just keep plugging at it and let us know if you need help with specific questions.
Take care.

Thanks Freak! I will definately be asking lots of Qs, and I have already started on serious preparations, and hope to sit for this test late november, this year.
Where can I find good IP Subnetting study guides?

Cheers

There is a chart at the following link:

http://ntstudyzone.virtualave.net/subnet.html

Memorize this chart and understand the math in increments.

Ignore the confusing verbage below the chart

This will help A LOT on the exam. Trust me!!

You MUST, however, know the logic behind it all.

Hope it helps. It is my mantra!!

Thanks Guys for the links! Combined with Chapter 3 on Internet protocol in Lammle's book , it is all now starting to sink in!
I will ask if there is anything that is not clear.

Cheers!
