Can someone please give me the command to find the mac address. Please state the cooman for
Win 95 Win 98 and NT

not sure about win95, but should be the same as w98. Should be able to go to start bar,
then run propmt type in winipcfg. that should give you the mac and ip.

for nt/2000 go to the run prompt and type in cmd or go to dos prompt and type in ipconfig -all that will give you the ip and mac as well as all other info.

or you can go from a cmd or ms dos and ping the ip you are looking for then type in
arp -a and find the ip on the left and the mac should be on the right unless you are going across a router in which the router mac will be there.

From a router or RSM, you can use
Show IP arp <ip address> and it will give you the mac.
