| Hey guys, I just wanted to let you know that I passed the CCNA exam today. This was my second time taking it and I am happy to be finished. I'll take about a month off and on to CCNP! Thank you all for your help and I look forward to seeing you all in the CCNP Forum! Now for the good stuff! Fellas, even though I failed it the first time I still will say this test is challenging, buy not difficult. You really must pay attention to detail. The way they word the questions is the hardest part of the test, IF you know your stuff. As it has been said before, study, study, study, and the study some more. Things to know! Sybex book, back and forth!! To narrow it down a little, know your commands, Switch types, OSI, about 4 subnetting questions, VLANs, Access List and so on. I used both Sybex books (407 and 507), one of the Bosin software practice test, and 067-407 transcenders. All was very helpful!! Take your time, relax, and read VERY CAREFULLY, and you will pass if prepared! Thanks again for all your help!!

| Congratulations on passing. I will be attempting again for the second time at the end of next week hopefully. I am using the same study sources that you used so hopefully I will be successful on my second attempt. I definetly feel more prepared at this point than I did for the last one. I just hope my nerves don't get the best of me and cause me to go brain dead. I tend to do that on important tests. Did you have any fill in the blank type questions? I had one on my first test and the answer was router rip. I have heard that some people have had 3. If you had some, can you share what they were? Thanks and congratulations.
