| Hi,
I have slacked off on studying some for the CCNA after my first unsuccessful attempt. I have decided that I would like to attempt it again at the end of September. I am currently studying Todd Lammle 507 book, Transcender 1.0, Boson and various information I have found on the net. Would it be better to invest in Techmindworks or Cisco's study book or both. I have been through the Cisco Academy and passed with solid A's. I feel like I have a fairly decent grasp of the material unfortunatley I feel like I had a case of testing anxiety when I took it the first time. Also, I went through the first version of the academy which I feel was geared toward the test that was just retired. Hopefully, I can feel in the holes that I feel weren't covered that well in my training. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

| I've heard that the Lammle book is a solid one. I used the Cisco Press 507 study guide and ICND book. The ICND book covered the right topics in the right amount of detail. The study guide went overboard with the details. The Transcender was pretty good, but it didn't really test on VLANS and some of the switching topics. Hope this helps.

i'm using the techmindworks online prep drills along with the cisco press 507 study guide as a reference for understanding new topics. the cp book comes with a searchable pdf version on cdrom so u can jump right to the parts that cover the material ur studying.
