Author Just Started The Journey

Hi Guy
Just started preparing for CCNA2.0. Got Lammle's study guide, which makes excellent reading. I also have a 1605R ISDN router to practice my commands on. Any extra tips to make the journey as painless as possible?

Try one of the router simulations available so you can practice on a multiple router network. There are a few listed in the forum.

Also, create study questions as you go. It tends to reinforce your learning and gives you something to study from after you've finished reading the book.

One thing you can do to help you study is to make flash cards based on the objectives of the exam.

Basically, buy a pack (or two or three) of index cards. One one side write the question, on the other side write the answer.
Kind of like math flash cards teachers used in elementary school. This will also break away from the monotony of a thick hard-back book.

Good luck:-)
