i have a question. is it allright to take CCNA first exam without joining any institute. can any one guide me how i can take the exam. i tried all related websites
this is the only website i can get help. please help me. thanks

How you prepare for the exam is up to you. All you need to do when ready is schedule the exam through sylvan/prometric. Pay the fee, then pass the exam.

AZHAR,

It depends on your background,, if you have some understanding with networking or you know about Hardwares you can do that with out joining any institute. Cisco recommends minimum A+ certifcation, but its always better if you have MCSE certification already cuz it gives you the solid background of Osi layers and Tcp/ip..

Anyway if u want to study, just buy a Cisco press book and read it carefully and do the excercises end of each chapter, when you finish the book just buy Boson test software, i think that will be very helpful.

But don't forget hands-on pratice on a router its entirely a different thing.
