| Ok. Can someone please help explain to me the update path on the CCNA exams. For example, if you are a CCNA 1.0, do you have to upgrade to 2.0? Or is this like A+ where you have it once, you have it forever?
Thank you!

| Unlike Comptia, Cisco certification is NOT for life. At present, Cisco allows CCNA 1.0 cert. holders to proceed to CCNP 2.0 and higher cert. without re-certification requirement. However, that does NOT mean Cisco will not change in the future. |
