Ok. Can someone please help explain to me the update path on the CCNA exams. For example, if you are a CCNA 1.0, do you have to upgrade to 2.0? Or is this like A+ where you have it once, you have it forever?

Thank you!

Unlike Comptia, Cisco certification is NOT for life. At present, Cisco allows CCNA 1.0 cert. holders to proceed to CCNP 2.0 and higher cert. without re-certification requirement. However, that does NOT mean Cisco will not change in the future.
