last day for 407???

| will like to know when the 640-407 will be retired and is it rational for me as a starter to sit for 407 or I should wait and study more to face 507. | |

| July 31, 2000 is the end date for many of the Cisco exams, including all the CCNP ver 1.0 exams.
Plenty of time left for you to choose either exam, depending on experience and study time.
