Author BSCN and ACRC

Hello,

I am preparing for CCNP, As I could not find any BSCN book, I bought the Sybex's ACRC book and preparing for BSCN exam.

I would like to to buy a good book for BSCN, could anybody suggest a good book?
As BSCN exam available only in Aug, can I do the ACRC exam and all other (three more)CCNP 2.0 exams?

Thanks,

Ravi

I have the same problem. Yes, you can take ACRC and then take 2.0 for the rest, but you will be CCNP 1.0 certified even with three 2.0 exams. You can check with your Cisco Career Certification Tracking System. Well, for me, I will be waiting for the BSCN.
Good Luck.

Like Hawk said, you'll be a ver 1.0 CCNP, but as soon as you take and pass the BSCN you'd be a 2.0 and the re-certification clock would start over again (3 years til you need to re-certify from the time of the last exam you passed).

PS. that 3 year re-cert comment has't been officially released yet, but it should be soon.

Why bother with the CCNP 1.0 track when you'll need to recertify anyway? Although Cisco doesn't say when, I'd say just wait or just get your hands on whatever CCNP 2.0 book is available. I'm working on the BCMSN book from cisco right now. Hopefully, newer study materials will be available before I take the exam.
