| Hello to all,
I'm interested in buying a router sim for CCNA prep. I looked at ads for Sybex E trainer and also Routersim.com simulator. Does anyone have any comments on them(other than price difference), which one would you would use?
Thanks

| The e-trainer is good for CCNA 1.0 exam and
it has slightly more features than routersim
1.25. If you are doing the ccna 2.0 exam you
may need the more expensive router sim 2.0

| Here is a tip. You can purchase the e-trainer cd from www.booksamillion.com for 53 bucks and some change. It retails in stores for 99.00-- you can also purchase it at amazon for 79.00. Then, there is an option: http://www.routersim.com/Sybex/upgrade.htm
to upgrade the e-trainer to Router Sim 2.0 it only costs 109.00-- so, roughly, 162.00 if you buy the sim from booksamillion.com
compared to the 229.00 they are charging on their page. Hey, I know it isnt much but that's one more study guide or a bit of money for your victory dinner. |
