Author CCNA Test Fomat (have U taken it?)

I feel this is well within the "spirit of the test", so here goes:

How is the test formatted in regards to IOS commands. Is it multiple choice? Is there some type of simulator that you type the entire string into (i.e. #config t, etc. etc?) Just curious so i'll know how best to prepare!

Thanks,

Mako

the ccna exam is mutiple choice. there r some drag and drop questions, for example u may get a question where u have to drag and drop the osi layers in the correct order according to bits, frams, packets, segments and data.
i had about 4 drag and drop questions. all the rest were multiple choice.
hope this helps, good luck

Hi,

can anybody tell me if you are allowed to use windows' calculator with bin-dec function on the ccna exam?

thanx

Unfortunately, no. My feeling on that is they should let you use a calculator and as a trade off, make the test a little tougher conceptualy (keep out the paper.) I'll probably take the CCNA on Saturday although I'm considering putting it off for another week.

Passed yesterday with a 888 , glad its over. Wasn't easy at all ,wasn't sure how I did until the score came back . Lot's of OSI , very little subnetting , lot of multi answer questions . Study hard and you'll be ok , use any available test questions on the net you can find it all helps .
