What is the significance if any of having parity when configing a router, does the series of router directly affect "parity".

Does this question warrent any acknowledgement? THANKS, SILKY.

Are you talking about the parity setting in a hyperterminal? AFAIK parity should be set to "none" when you want to connect to the console port of a Cisco router.

Does this answer this question?
