Cisco the way forward...?
|
|
|
| Hi,
I will be studying for my CCNA very soon to supplement my career aspirations as well as to help me in my job. I do indeed agree that hands-on experience is essential to fully understand and appreciate the concepts behind internetworking.
However at the moment I only have basic Cisco IOS and conceptual knowledge - I was just wondering whther I would be taking on a lot considering my level of knowledge?
And also is the Cisco E-trainer study material any good, as I was thinking about purchasing it...?
thanks in advance

| Hi EricTheRed. Here are my answers to your questions:

This really depends on a number of factors. Do you have a good memory? There is a lot of memory work involved. You also need at least a reasonable intelligence to grasp the internetworking materials covered. I personally believe there is a lot to learn in this area, and in prep for the CCNA exam.

I can't say on this one. I used the Sybex Virtual Lab E-Trainer, which I thought to be quite good. For more info about prep for the exam, and study sources, check my Web page at:

Hope this helps,
