What is the default encapsulation type for TCP/IP?

I'll take a stab at this.
Adilux TCP/IP is OSI protocols. IPX is Novell. The Novell protocol that is the same as TCP/IP is IPX/SPX.
IPX RIP is Novells default routing protocol

TCP/IP is older than OSI. Its origin can be traced back to US DoD ARPA projects.

I prefer to check it on the router rather than the book. On my routers it's ARPA (Ethernet II) not SAP (802.2). For Ethernet that is. Token-Ring is different.

BTW: Page 327 of my copy of the ICND book is blank. May be the course version of ICND material is different.

Cool Terje! I knew about DoD and OSI being defferent and that TCP was DoD but I didn't think about the defference. Guess I thought the DoD worked with OSI to developed TCP ...BUT! I learn something new here everyday
Either way, What about my follow up!!!! How did I do?
